Titles: Tricks, Canine Good Citizen & More

Want to teach an old dog new tricks or help your puppy become an Instagram star? This program is for you!

Trick classes are a fun way to teach your dog a variety of skills while learning the foundations of training and earning a few titles while you’re at it! It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to teach a sit, spin, or how to retrieve a soda from the fridge, these classes can help. Suitable for all levels and abilities the focus is on fun ways to engage with your dog and earn a few titles while you’re at it.

We also offer semi-private training training and testing for your AKC Canine Good Citizen titles, often the first step towards becoming a therapy dog!

Trick Titles & Fun

These classes are open to handlers 12 years of age and up. Dogs must be comfortable in a group setting and while there are no prerequisite skills dogs that are able to walk on a loose leash and understand a sit or down stay will progress quickly. If you’re not sure where to start we recommend a semi-private session. This is a weekly sign-up so there’s no need to commit to several weeks, and as the class is limited to just two dogs you’ll have plenty of time to discuss your training goals allowing our instructor to assist you in finding the best classes for you and your dog.

Canine Good Citizen

We offer a complete Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program, including testing for Advanced and Urban titles. Our introductory CGC class is best suited for dogs that have some basic skills such as a loose leash walk and the ability to focus on a handler in a group setting. Students enrolled in one of our 5-week classes will receive a discount on their testing date, however the CGC class is not a requirement before testing and many dogs enrolled in our Puppy, Essentials or Sports classes may have the necessary skills to title in the AKC Canine Good Citizen program.
