Sharon began her dog training journey over 30 years ago working with her own dogs in obedience. Her first purebred dog introduced her to conformation and then when agility hit the scene she was hooked! Agility is her passion and where she has focused much of her training. Sharon loves seeing a dog learn, especially that ‘ah-ha!’ moment when you know the dog has figured out what you’re saying. Most importantly she enjoys the relationship that develops from that communication, and helping her students build strong relationships with their dogs is why she’s teaching at One Smart Dog!

When not at the training centre Sharon can be found attending online classes as she continues to develop her professional skills. She participates in conformation, rally, dock diving, and of course, she’s still hooked on those agility trials!
